Hello and Welcome!
People encounter God in different ways but always in relationship! At Saint Mark Catholic Church, we hope that you will encounter Christ through a community that gathers daily and Sunday for Mass, who work for justice and who live a life for others by giving their time and talent and treasures for the common good.
For those who are visiting or looking for a spiritual home I want to invite you to join us.
Saint Mark is over 35 years old and has now grown to include over 2500 families that call us home. We have a well established parish school, an active religious education program and many other ministries and opportunities. Our mission is simple. We want to bring people to Christ and his Church so they might experience the gifts that come with that relationship; his love, mercy, peace, strength and healing.
Our central act or worship is the Sunday Eucharist where we are fed at the table of the Lord and challenged to go forth and spread the Good News. God is calling each of us to a deeper understanding of what life is all about; faith, family, and sacrificial service. Please join us!
God Bless You,
Fr. Steve Carlson, Pastor

Advent is a time of waiting. Our whole life, however, is Advent – that is, a time of waiting for the time when there will be a new heaven and a new earth, when all people are brothers and sisters and one rejoices in the words of the angels: On earth peace to those on whom God's favor rests.
Every year, Advent reminds us of the importance of a special, blessed kind of waiting – waiting in expectation: seeking, hoping and preparing for evidence of the presence of God with us, among us, in us. This waiting is celebrated with color and light, with word and song, with darkness and silence, and with faith, hope and love. Come, O come Emmanuel!
